2013 NFL Super Bowl: Schedule, kickoff time, channel and more

Planning on tuning in for the Super Bowl between the Ravens and 49ers today? Here is all the info you'll need to watch it!

Mike Ehrmann

Super Bowl XLVII is here and it is shaping up to be a good one with a plethora of headlines. Ray Lewis, one of the best linebackers to ever play, will be participating in his last game amidst a new PED controversy. Meanwhile, Colin Kaepernick has been sensational for the 49ers, but will he be able to quarterback his way past a terrific Ravens defense? Oh, and then there is the Harbaugh brothers facing off as they stand across the field from one another.

If nothing else, you may flip the TV on as background noise for an excuse to throw a party.

So if you're looking to catch the game, make sure to tune into CBS, who has the big finale this season. Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will have the call for the game that begins at 6:30 EST/4:30 MST. The game will be played in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana. This is the tenth time New Orleans has hosted this big event.

If you are not doing anything and looking to chat about the game with other NFL fans, be sure to drop by later and join us in our Super Bowl open thread. It's always a blast talking about the game with fellow football fanatics.

Enjoy the game!
