First it was former Colt Drew Stanton, now it appears cornerback Jerraud Powers, another former member of the Indianapolis Colts, is set to sign with the Arizona Cardinals. According to the team, it is a three-year deal.
Per the Arizona Republic's Kent Somers:
CB Jerraud Powers will sign with #azcardinals , too, according to source. No details

Powers will come in and likely play as the #2 corner across from Patrick Peterson, unless other subsequent moves are made. The Cards are also said to have interest in free agent Nnamdi Asomugha, who could still be signed.
Powers brings with him a wealth of experience and is only going to be 26 years old by the start of the season. He dealt with injuries last season, allowing him to only play in 8 games. In that time, he received a negative pass coverage grade from Pro Football Focus, but that could improve under the new coaching regime in Arizona.
The Cardinals still have plenty of holes to fill on their roster and will continue to work in free agency to fill them. Keep with us here on Revenge of the Birds for all of the latest news.
