After previously being connected to the Arizona Cardinals, but not coming to terms last week, wide receiver and kick returner Joshua Cribbs appears to be close to putting his name on the dotted line and officially becoming a member of the Arizona Cardinals.
According to Cleveland.com,
"Browns receiver Josh Cribbs flew to Arizona Sunday night to visit with the Cardinals, take a physical and possibly sign with the club, a league source said.
"If all goes as Cribbs hopes, he'll be a Cardinal by Monday, the source said."
Cribbs would likely fill the void at kick returner left by LaRod Stephens-Howling, who is not going to return to the team. He also is an overall special teams stud, filling another need. He would also be slotted to be the team's fourth wide receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Roberts and Michael Floyd.
He appeared to be set to join the Cardinals last week, but that deal never happened as he was still weighing his options. The New England Patriots were also considered an option, but they signed Leon Washington, who would fill that returner role.
