The team released a statement about the decision to release safety Adrian Wilson. He sent a message to the fans. Many media members have given their thoughts. On Twitter, some of Wilson's now former teammates took a moment to give their thanks and thoughts.
I'm thankful for all the moments that I got to spend with #AdrianWilson. He helped me grow up and be a man in the NFL. Thanks for everything

Adrian Wilson is 1 of the most influential people I have ever met. It was a pleasure playing with him. He will always be a Cardinal at heart

You can tell he was a teammate that made an impression. He was a leader. Let's hope that Campbell and Peterson can step up and either add to or be what Wilson was for such a long time.
