Marcus Vick 'warning' players of possible 'fruit tarts'?

Michael Vicks little known brother, Marcus, makes a rather... Intriguing Tweet.

The NFL has been abuzz with this idea that players are contemplating "coming out of the closet". The Arizona Cardinals have not been exempt from these rumors. In a tweet sent last night by Marcus Vick, the younger brother of Eagles Quarterback, Michael Vick, he mentioned this:

Now does this mean anything? No. He could have had a run in with several Cardinal players and have a strong dislike towards them, or he could actually have some knowledge on potentially gay players on the roster. What makes this even more interesting, is that it comes four days after rumors began circulating that former Cardinal Kerry Rhodes is gay following pictures being taken of him on vacation with another man. Rhodes has since been quoted:

"Photos have been circulating of my former assistant and I that have caused some rumors regarding my sexuality, and I wanted to address the situation. ... I am not gay. ... The shots were taken during a past vacation in a casual environment with my entire business team."

Marcus had a brief stint (one year) following a troubled tenure at Virginia Tech, ultimately being kicked off the team. He entered the 2006 draft claiming to be better than both Matt Leinart and Jay Cutler. We saw how that played out...

His quote may have no meaning behind it, but in a time where gay rights is one of the hot topics, and is now finding it's way into sports, Marcus tweets were ill timed and unnecessary.
