In accordance with the upcoming draft, Pro Football Focus is running a draft grade for all teams for the 2008-2010 classes with a numerical stamp of +2.0 to -2.0 on each player during that period - and the Arizona Cardinals fans probably have differing views from the author.
Grades were based on:
Draft position
Number of snaps played
Performance (I'm assuming not just stats, but subjective view.)
And intangibles (Such as injury, coaches DNP decision, etc.. also subjective.)
The personal views, IMO, is the reason for Keith and Calvin to be rated higher than Wells, Roberts and DRC. Even if Wells was released and Cromartie traded, still far more productive than the formers.
And while the publication correctly lauded Calais Campbell and Daryl Washington (pre- suspension), they completely epic-failed on Chris Harrington and Will Davis rated above even Early Doucet.
So there you have it. It's all so simple when you break things down scientifically.
Herman Johnson was a better pick than Wells.
Just harder to tell which was the bigger baby.
Until next time, remember, numbers never lie.
