It has been discussed a lot this offseason and it seems to be a topic of conversation ever since he was drafted -- tight end Rob Housler is destined to have a huge year.
The subject came up again after Thursday's practice. Bruce Arians, who said on Monday that he sees an 80-catch player in Housler, was asked about him again.
"I see a wideout playing tight end," Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Thursday via Arizona Sports. "A guy that's very versatile. He can play in the backfield, at tight end, split out wide.
"I think the sky's the limit as far as where he can get talent-wise, and I really like the way he plays football."
Housler himself said he hopes to have a good year, and his quarterback, Carson Palmer, raved not only about his speed, but his hands and route running.
Is it time to go all in with the Housler hype? Probably not until we see him at least in the preseason, but it sounds like he is well suited for the versatile tight end role that Arians likes to use.
