Yesterday it was noted that Rashad Johnson was seen leaving the field after being taped up by trainers. It wasn't cause for concern, nor is it now anyways, but it was something to look for during the next day's press conference.
Arians gave some upsetting news saying that Rashad Johnson suffered a "Mild" MCL sprain, to go with a sprained ankle. For those of you who don't know what an MCL sprain is, click here.
Had this been Johnson going down last season, we may have been worried, but this year Tyrann Mathieu is in the fray, and will get the start this weekend against the Cowboys, so we will see what he can provide.
It appears that the football gods are being kind to us thus far. While every other team is suffering season ending injuries, the Cardinals have been fortunate. With the exception of Ryan Williams (more on him in a sec), and Ryan Swope, no key individuals have had a hard time staying on the field. So as I knock on wood this stays true,
Arians was also asked by reporters about Ryan Williams... Yesterday he said he thought Williams to be too "Conscientious" and today when he was asked if he knew when Williams would be ready he said "I have no idea, I have no absolutely no idea."(- Per team site.)
According to the Cardinals official site, Andre Ellington returned to practice in a limited form.
Javier Arenas left practice early with an injury, but no official word will be released until Thursday since the players are off tomorrow.
Here's the rest of the guys as mentioned on azcardinals.com
