The Arizona Cardinals have until Tuesday at 4 PM EST to get their roster down to 75 players. They currently have 76 players, as they have announced the release of 10 players, including kicker Dan Carpenterconfirming an earlier report.

The players the team cut ties with are:

  • Tackle Joe Caprioglio
  • Kicker Dan Carpenter
  • Receiver Jarrett Dillard
  • Receiver Nick Edwards
  • Center Deveric Gallington
  • Defensive end Cordian Hagans
  • Linebacker Korey Jones
  • Defensive tackle Jonathan Mathis
  • Quarterback Caleb TerBush
  • Cornerback Ronnie Yell

In addition, they placed linebacker Dan Giordano on the PUP list.

They will need to make at least one more cut by Tuesday afternoon, but that does not mean that that is the only roster move that happens. Mike Jurecki reported that Arizona could be looking to add "a beefy nose tackle" because of the ankle injury that Dan Williams suffered in Saturday's preseason loss.

Teams must have their rosters down to 53 players by August 31 for the start of the regular season.
