NFL picks against the spread: Could Raiders cover big spread in Monday Night Football?

Our ATS pick for Monday Night Football

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Week 3's sunday games were not a complete disaster for picking against the spread, but for straight up winners, it wasn't so good. Our picks against the Vegas spread went 7-6-1 (the one push coming from Tennessee/San Diego) on Sunday.

What is up for the Monday Night Football AFC West showdown?

We have the Denver Broncos hosting the Oakland Raiders. Denver has been just demolishing opponents. Oakland has been bad.

Denver, favored by 15, is on a roll offensively. However, there is one important factor -- they have only covered 37 percent of their home games since 2006.

Should we fear the big spread? Well, Seattle was favored by 19 at home and won by 28. San Francisco was favored by 10.5, but lost by 20.

However, if you have noticed something, Denver's offense is dynamic. Give the points up and take the Broncos to the bank. Only injury will stand in their way.
