Week 1 of the NFL is this weekend. Fantasy football starts, too. We will have a more in-depth look at the Cardinals game each week in terms of fantasy football, but today is a quick one, as we have a sponsor. So, at a glance, whom should you start and whom should you sit this week if you have any Cardinals players?
Start: Arizona Cardinals defense
This is in part based on last year's reputation. The unit has also been quite good at creating turnovers and, while it didn't show in the preseason, John Abraham will be unleashed and he is good for the pass rush. Supposedly, Darnell Dockett and Calais Campbell will also be disrupting factors. This is as good a week to test things out.
Start: Patrick Peterson
This is, of course, only if you are in an IDP league. Peterson will not only be a threat of getting picks, he also is a threat in the punt return game and on offense now. He is the guy on defense to start every single week.
Start: Andre Roberts
The forgotten man among the receiving group was an impact player early in the season. He will put up solid numbers with defenses focused on Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd.
Sit: Rob Housler
This should be easy. I don't expect him to play. Don't play an injured player.
