Pro Bowl 2014 rosters set: Patrick Peterson lands on Team Sanders, other Arizona Cardinals on team Rice

We might see Peterson defending Fitzgerald.

On Wednesday, there was the first ever Pro Bowl draft, where Deion Sanders, Jerry Rice and their team captains selected who they wanted on their team. Before this season, it was always divided down conference lines, with the AFC playing the NFC. This year there are no conferences.

The results are in and three of the four Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowlers landed on one squad. Patrick Peterson was selected as the fifth player overall and he was the first defensive player taken. He was selected by Deion Sanders, who said that Peterson reminded him of himself. But many Cardinals fans have known that Deion has liked Peterson for some time.

But Peterson was the only Cardinal to be taken by Team Sanders.

The other three -- Justin Bethel, John Abraham and Larry Fitzgerald are part of Team Rice.

Bethel landed on Team Rice on Tuesday, when the interior linemen, fullbacks and specialists (special teams and punter) were selected.

Abraham and Fitzgerald were "drafted" on Wednesday.

The one thing that this new system provides is the possibility that Fitz and Peterson could line up opposite one another. Who would win that matchup?
