Cardinals vs. Redskins injury report: Patrick Peterson upgraded, no change at QB, Paul Fanaika still sits

Another look at the injury report for both teams.

Thursday came and went and not much has changed with the Arizona Cardinals and their injury status.

There were three changes to the injury report. Cornerback Patrick Peterson, who is battling a sprained ankle, and cornerback Justin Bethel, who has a shoulder injury, both were upgraded from limited to full participants in practice. Backup linebacker Kenny Demens was added to the injury report for the first time, but he practiced fully with a back injury.

Everyone else was the same. Guard Paul Fanaika, linebacker Glenn Carson, tight end Troy Niklas and defensive end Calais Campbell did not practice at all. In place of Fanaika at right guard was Jonathan Cooper. With two days of missed practice, Cooper might get his opportunity to play on Sunday.

After that, quarterbacks Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton, as well as running back Andre Ellington were all limited in practice.

Stanton has not yet been cleared through the concussion protocol, but is hopeful that will happen on Friday. Logan Thomas took first team reps in practice at quarterback.

Washington had only one change from Wednesday. Starting left tackle Trent Williams, who did not practice Wednesday, was limited on Thursday with a knee injury.

DNP: QB Robert Griffin (ankle), S Rayn Clark (ankle), LB Brian Orakpo (ankle), CB Tracy Porter (hamstring), LB Perry Riley (knee)

Limited: TE Jordan Reed (hamstring), T Trent Williams (knee)

Full participant: DL Kedric Golston (groin), DE Jason Hatcher (hamstring), LB Akeem Jordan (knee), DE Frank Kearse (thigh), G Shaun Lauvao (knee), T Tyler Polumbus (finger) S Trenton Robinson (ankle)
