The inactive list doesn't clear anything up for the quarterback situation of the Arizona Cardinals. The team released its seven-man list of who will not dress for the game and all three quarterbacks -- Carson Palmer, Drew Stanton and Logan Thomas -- are active.
No official word has been given as to who will be the starter, although Mike Jones of the Washington Post tweetedPalmer will make the start.
Here are the Arizona inactives:
- RB Marion Grice
- DE Calais Campbell
- TE Troy Niklas
- LB Thomas Keiser
- LB Glenn Carson
- LB Desmond Bishop
- DT Bruce Gaston
What does this mean? It means Marcus Benard will be in the mix at outside linebacker and it will Alameda Ta'amu who will be the sixth player of the six-man rotation on the defensive line. Rookie Kareem Martin is going to start in place of Campbell at defensive end.
For Washington, here are the inactives:
- QB Robert Griffin
- DE Jackson Jeffcoat
- G Spencer Long
- T Morgan Moses
- CB Tracy Porter
- LB Perry Riley
- WR Aldrick Robinson
The most notable player not on this list is tight end Jordan Reed. He will be in the lineup and will be a player to watch. Safety Ryan Clark did not practice all week, but he also will be in the lineup.
