It was podcast time!

Carson Palmer returned to play on Sunday and the Arizona Cardinals sneaked out of University of Phoenix Stadium with a 30-20 win.

So there was plenty to talk about on the show with Seth Cox.

Tuesday evening we recorded another episode of Revenge of the Birds Radio, and it was our longest show to date -- 90 minutes. I hope you have time to listen to the whole thing.

We talked about the newest additions to the practice squad and then talked about the Washington game.

The topics were:

1. Carson Palmer's return and play. We also graded his performance.

2. The offense overall -- we talk about the good and the bad and give that side of the ball an overall grade. We discuss Andre Ellington's play and how he is wearing down as the game goes on and the absence of Jonathan Dwyer has really changed the rushing attack for Arizona.

3. The defense -- We grade it and talk about "celebrations and concerns." We praised the front seven's play against the run and the play of Alex Okafor, although we note the matchup against Tyler Polumbus was very favorable. Seth called it the equivalent of going against Bobby Massie the first half of his rookie season.

4. We look ahead at the next 11 weeks. Can the Cardinals keep up their winning? I equate the season to 2012, only this year they have a healthy QB. They are doing just enough. If they beat Oakland and get to 5-1, going 5-5 the rest of the way against a tough stretch of opponents would be great. But will 10-6 be good enough for the postseason this year?

Yes, it is 90 minutes. Hopefully you make it all the way to the end. Listen using the player above, the streaming player below or downloading the show directly. You can subscribe to the show on iTunes or on Stitcher Radio as well.
