It is Thursday Night Football and it is potentially another blowout. The New York Jets play the New England Patriots. It is Tom Brady against Geno Smith. Laughable, right?

What about against the spread?
The Pats are favored by 9.5 points. Seems like a lock as TNF games have mostly been ugly blowouts. But with recent New England losses, including defensive captain Jerrod Mayo and running back Steven Ridley, combined with a gritty Jets team, I don't like swallowing that many points. So I fully expect a Pats win, but I will take the points here and say take the Jets +9.5.
