Cardinals vs. Eagles injury report: Calais Campbell practices, Kendricks looks unlikely for Sunday

Another look at the injury report.

Rich Schultz

Thursday came and went and both the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles practiced and released their new injury report.

For Arizona, there was one big change. Defensive end Calais Campbell returned to practice. He did not participate on Wednesday, but did so on Thursday on a limited basis. This leads on to believe he has a chance at playing on Sunday. He himself has already said he could play without practicing, but would rather have practiced at least one day.

Everyone else was the same. Defensive end Frostee Rucker (calf) practiced fully. Rashad Johnson (knee), John Brown (ankle) and Andre Ellington (foot) were limited in practice.

Tight end Troy Niklas (high ankle sprain) did not practice.

For the Eagles, the injury report was exactly like Wednesday's with one exception -- cornerback Jaylen Watkins was added. He fully participated but has a wrist injury.

Linebacker Mychal Kendricks and running back Darren Sproles were again limited, which according to Philadelphia Daily News reporter Les Bowen doesn't bode well. The vibe in the locker room was that Kendrick is not ready. We will see about Sproles. He has the same injury Calais Campbell suffered.
