The Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys were at practice on Wednesday and each team released their first injury report of the week.

For Cardinals fans, there is a big sigh of relief. After leaving the game with a concussion on Sunday, All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson was at practice and passed the concussion protocol. he was limited.

The only two players not to practice were running back Stepfan Taylor, who is already ruled out for this week, and safety Tony Jefferson, who is going through the concussion protocol as well. Head coach Bruce Arians said he was optimistic Jefferson would pass on Wednesday.

Receiver Michael Floyd, who suffered a knee injury on Sunday, practiced fully. The same was for Calais Campbell.

Rookie tight end Troy Niklas was at practice on a limited basis. The only player that was "new" to the list was linebacker Kenny Demens, who was limited with a knee injury.

DNP: S Tony Jefferson (head)

For the Cowboys, they were without four key players on Wednesday. Quarterback Tony Romo (back) did not practice. Neither did tackle Doug Free (foot), guard Ronald Leary (groin) or linebacker Rolando McClain (shoulder). There are many reports out about Romo. Bruce Arians seems certain Romo will play this week. Others say the type of injury he suffered will cause him to miss time.

In a conference call with the media, Romo said if it is only about pain, he will play. It will be based on whether he functions well. Head coach Jason Garrett said the team doesn't know his game status at this point. He wasn't able to participate in the jog-through on Wednesday.
