With the Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions facing off for the best record in the NFC this Sunday, I got another podcast episode up and spoke with Pride Of Detroit lead writer Sen Yuille, who also appeared on the show a year ago when the Cards played the Lions near the start of 2013.
Yuille says the Lions have been living on the edge a bit, getting down early and having to rally.
He tells us about the injury situation for Detroit and he goes into detail how Jim Caldwell has changed things around in the locker room.
He says Golden Tate was the player with the greatest impact out of those that joined the team this year and is looking forward to the matchup of the two very productive receivers in Tate and Calvin Johnson up against Arizona's Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie.
We learn that the play of quarterback Matthew Stafford had been frustratingly inconsistent and he gives some insight into Drew Stanton.
