This game today between the Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions is huge. What are some matchups that will matter?
Golden Tate/Calvin Johnson vs. Patrick Peterson/Antonio Cromartie
This will be fun. Johnson is the best in the game and Tate is having a career year. Peterson is playing as well over the last couple of weeks as he has in his career and Cromartie, taking away the Broncos game, has been better.
Andre Ellington vs. Detroit's No. 1 rush defense
Ellington was bottled up last week against the Rams. He is not having the season many thought he could, although the volume of his numbers say he is doing fine. He is just touching the ball a lot more. However, he makes the offense go and Detroit is teh best in the league against the run. Can he be utilized to make big plays in the passing game?
Drew Stanton vs. history
He is the starter now that Carson Palmer is out for the rest of the season. He was originally drafted by the Lions. Will his history with the team amp him up or give him more nerves? He hasn't thrown an interception this season, but has not completed even half of his passes. He is 2-1 as a starter and got the winning touchdown in relief last week.
Ndamukong Suh vs. Ted Larsen
Ugh. That's all. Suh is playing out of his mind. He has 4.5 sacks on the year. Larsen has struggled.
What matchups will you be watching?
