Cardinals vs. Lions inactives: No Reggie Bush, Brandon Pettigrew for Detroit

A look at who is not dressing for the game.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions announced their seven-player inactive lists for today's matchup and the Cardinals have no real surprises, but the Lions will be without some key players.

Arizona will have all three quarterbacks dress -- Drew Stanton, who will start, plus Logan Thomas and Ryan Lindley. Thomas will be the backup and Lindley will be number three.

But the players on the inactive list all are to be expected. They are RB Kerwynn Williams, LB Desmond Bishop, LB Glenn Carson, DT Ed Stinson, DE Josh Mauro, G Earl Watford and TE Darren Fells.

Williams is the fifth running back with Stepfan Taylor healthy again. Stinson and Bishop weren't going to play with their injuries. Mauro is brand new. Watford and Fells have been inactive before.

On the defensive line, the absence of Stinson means more time for Kareem Martin and Alameda Ta'amu, or more for Tommy Kelly and Frostee Rucker if Ta'amu and Martin do not play well.

Detroit will be without four starters. G Larry Warford, RB Reggie Bush, DT Nick Fairley and TE Brandon Pettigrew are among the inactives. They all have an assortment of injuries.

Travis Swanson will start for Warford at right guard. Joique Bell will play instead of Reggie Bush. Rookie Eric Ebron will be the starter in place of Pettigrew.
