The Arizona Cardinals have released their inactive list for the game against the Seattle Seahawks. The big question has been answered -- receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain last week against the Lions, will be inactive and will not play.
It will end a streak of 110 consecutive games played for the veteran receiver.
This means more playing time for John Brown and Jaron Brown.
The rest of the inactive list to be expected, except for one -- Alameda Ta'amu. In a game where one would expect him to get some playing time, he will not even dress. Instead, newly signed Josh Mauro, whom the Cardinals plucked fro the Steelers practice squad, is active and will likely see some playing time, based on how they like to rotate defensive linemen.
Here is the list of inactive Cardinals:
- WR Larry Fitzgerald
- RB Kerwynn Williams
- LB Desmond Bishop
- LB Glenn Carson
- DT Alameda Ta'amu
- DT Ed Stinson
- TE Matthew Mulligan
Seattle will be without two starting offensive linemen. Center Max Unger is out for a few weeks and guard James Carpenter re-aggravated his injury during the week. Here are Seattle's inactives:
- TE Rashaun Allen
- LB Allen Bradford
- DB Marcus Burley
- G James Carpenter
- TE Demarcus Dobbs
- LB Kevin Pierre-Louis
- C Max Unger
