Cardinals vs. Falcons: Player of the Game Poll

New, comments

Even in that terrible defeat, a few players deserve to be commended.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

We take a look at who deserves the game ball in this week's Player of the Game Poll.

1) Rashad Johnson

Johnson had an 88 yard pick-6 early in the 2nd quarter to put the score at 17-7, giving everyone hope that the Cardinals could rebound from the shabby 1st quarter.  Johnson also had 6 tackles (4 solo, 2 assisted), and a pass deflected.  It's nice to know at least someone in the secondary showed up.

2) Jaron Brown

Brown caught all 7 of the balls thrown his way, ending the day with 75 yards.  He lead the team in the absence of Larry Fitzgerald, in a sort of redemption game after dropping a potential TD against the Seahawks a week prior.

3) Stepfan Taylor

Taylor caught a 3 yard pass from QB Drew Stanton late in the 4th quarter (when the game was out of reach), bringing in the team's only offensive TD in the last 10 quarters of play.  He also ran in the 2-point conversion that followed the TD.

4) Ted Ginn Jr.

Ginn hasn't been too active as a receiver this season, but on Sunday, he had four receptions for 61 yards, as well as a 14 yard punt return.
