Complimenting St. Louis Rams after an Arizona Cardinals win

New, comments

Some holiday "kindness" in the NFL.

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

As he has done now for several weeks, Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk asks a question that the SB Nation network answers. Today we get into the spirit of the season.

"'Tis the season: Reach out and give a warm compliment to this week's opponent. But keep it Professional Grade. This is your chance to tell the other team "I like the way your face looks...when you throw an interception." Or maybe "Thanks for making us feel right at the end zones."

After an Arizona Cardinals win over the St. Louis Rams, this should be a little bit fun.

I'll give you a few that should be at least mediocre. You can continue with the "love" in the comments.

"Hey, Rams. Thanks for the hospitality in Edward Jones Dome. We felt right at home...and beat you like we beat you in our house."

"Hey, Rams. Congrats! As far as NFC West opponents go, you are great. We like you so much more than the Niners or 'Hawks...not that it takes much."

"Thanks, Rams. We appreciate the improvement in your treatment of our players. The previous two games we lost players to season-ending injuries. Drew Stanton is only week-to-week this time around."

"Rams, you've been pretty tough in the NFC West. You beat the Niners and the Seahawks. Just remember you couldn't beat the Cardinals."

"Rams, we totally understand the whole injured QB situation. But remember this -- our backups are better than your backups."

Now it's your turn. Use the comments to add to it.
