One of the backbreaking plays that happened in the Arizona Cardinals 35-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks was the 79-yard Marshawn Lynch touchdown run. People are calling it BeastQuake 2.0, as it resembles the original BeastQuake run he had in the postseason a few seasons ago.
Cian Fahey, who writes from a number of well-known football sites, broke down the play on Twitter and what happened to the Arizona defense.
First thing to note is Larry Foote(#50). Blitzes off left side of D at the snap, takes himself out of the play: pic.twitter.com/2xnzuL5S9e

Other ARI LB just completely misses Lynch. Doesn't see him until he's basically level with him: pic.twitter.com/GIVAKho6jB

Not only does that LB miss Lynch, he takes out Calais Campbell to create cutback lane for Lynch on 2nd level: pic.twitter.com/22LYRcujHM

Patrick Peterson overpursues, before turning back and making just a pathetic tackle attempt: pic.twitter.com/xQujupEdSu

Lynch throws the other defensive back to the ground, tiptoes the sideline and runs his way to the end zone: pic.twitter.com/RK9ydVO1Mi

RT @PFF_Pete Ricardo Lockette also helped by shoving Rashad Johnson in the back while Lynch pushed him. >>> pic.twitter.com/j7XZTELMXa

Seems Antonio Cromartie gave up on catching Marshan Lynch on 'that' run three times. He had no interest in any of what Lynch was selling.

The "other linebacker" who missed Lynch at the line of scrimmage and ended up taking Calais Campbell out of the play was rookie Glenn Carson. The DB that was thrown to the sideline must have been Tony Jefferson.
That's what happened. It was ugly and I hope never to see anything like it.
