With Thursday practice, the Arizona Cardinals saw a few changes on the injury report. Linebacker Larry Foote, the team's ironman, was listed as a DNP, as he did not practice with a foot injury. But while they added a starter on the sideline, one returned.
Starting tackle Jared Veldheer was limited on Thursday after sitting out with an ankle sprain on Wednesday. That bodes well for the team.
However, there were still starters who missed. Tyrann Mathieu is still out after thumb surgery. Running back Andre Ellington again sat out with his hip pointer. Guard Paul Fanaika also missed practice with his an ankle injury.
Defensive end Ed Stinson still is having toe issues. He sat out again.
Receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) and linebacker Lorenzo Alexander (knee) were both limited, but it seems Fitz will play this weekend. He told reporters it is "highly likely" he would play on Sunday...and this time it seemed real.
Linebacker Kenny Demens was upgraded to full participation on Thursday.
For KC, guard Mike McGlynn, who missed Wednesday's practice, was upgraded to limited. Defensive end Allen Bailey and receiver Junior Hemingway still sat out because of concussions. Receiver Donnie Avery (groin), tight end Anthony Fasano (knee) and linebacker Tamba Hali (knee) again were limited.
The rest of the players listed were full participants.
