Despite the way the Arizona Cardinals have played the past couple of weeks, the numbers look good. They are still on track for the postseason, despite some fears that the team could fall apart over the final four weeks.
According to numberFire.com, Arizona has a 91.4 percent of making the postseason and a 60.4 percent chance of winning the division.
That's solid.
Fivethirtyeight.com crunches some more numbers.
Currently at 9-3, Arizona has an 85.4 percent chance of the postseason. A win over the Chiefs on Sunday increases that likelihood to 94.3 percent.
The NFC West is up for grabs, though. It says Arizona currently has a 44.4 percent of being the NFC West champs. A win this weekend would bump that up to 53.5 percent. A Seattle loss to the Eagles also increases those chances another 6.5 percent.
The number one seed is even more up for grabs. It says the Cardinals have a 14.4 percent chance of getting the top seed as of right now. A win on Sunday increases that by 8.4 percent. A Green Bay loss adds another 7.9 percent. A Seattle loss doesn't do much, adding only an additional 1.4 percent.
What's the bottom line? The Cardinals have to win!
