We take a look at who deserves to be called the "player of the game" in this week's poll.
1) Alex Okafor
Okafor has had some great games this season, and Sunday was no exception. The 2nd-year LB sacked QB Alex Smith for a 13 yard loss, and also recorded two solo tackles and a pass deflected. But it was his interception that truly changed the game. Late in the 4th quarter, Okafor brought back a Smith pass 26 yards. Drew Stanton and the Cardinals offense promptly drove down the field for the go-ahead TD.
2) Kerwynn Williams
Fresh off the practice squad, Williams ended an Arizona run-game drought by running for 100 yards off 19 rushes. It was a great sight indeed to see a Cardinals RB turn out the plays that Williams did, and he will be especially important to the team as they look to move on without RB Andre Ellington for the rest of the season.
3) Frostee Rucker
Rucker has really stepped up this season for a line that's missing one of its stars, Darnell Dockett. Against the Chiefs, Rucker had two sacks, a pass deflected, and a tackle. Throughout the season, Rucker has been pressuring opposing QBs, and he did not relent against Smith.
4) Calais Campbell
Not much needs to be said about the Cardinals' star DE except for his stat line: one sack for an 8 yard loss, one pass deflected, and six tackles (5 solo). Campbell has been an invaluable anchor on the defense, and it's always reassuring to see him on the field.
5) Jaron Brown
The second year receiver came up big for the Cardinals late in the 4th quarter when he brought in a 26 yard TD pass from Stanton to put the team up for good. Other than that, Brown had a quiet game, but he did just enough for the team to put them ahead.
