2014 NFL mock draft: Blake Bortles at the top, Arizona Cardinals get OL help

They team picks up offensive line help.

Daniel Shirey-US PRESSWIRE

With the NFL Scouting Combine underway, we are ready for another mock draft. This time, at the top of the draft with the top pick overall, the Houston Texans select quarterback Blake Bortles.

Dan Kadar, who is in Indianapolis for the Combine for the week, believes that the Texans will end up going with the safer option than Johnny Manziel.

For the Arizona Cardinals, who have the 20th selection in the draft, they get help on the offensive line. They pick up tackle Antonio Richardson.

When general manager Steve Keim talked at the combine, he mentioned needing to keep Carson Palmer upright. The only way to do that is to improve the offensive line. Richardson is the best offensive tackle available and would pair well with Jonathan Cooper.

The selection of Richardson must mean that  the Cardinals don't get Branden Albert or any other help on the offensive line.

It makes the left side very young, with Richardson and Cooper.

What do you think of the pick? A selection of Richardon likely means that the team did not pick up Branden Albert in free agency. It makes the left side of the line quite young. Would the line be better served with some experience there? Or will the prospect of a tackle making us forget Levi Brown just be too much to pass him up?

What do you think?
