The Arizona Cardinals are expected to make left tackle Branden Albert their number one free agent target for the offensive line. However, according toa recent report by Pro Football Talk, the Cardinals do not look like the most likely destination for Albert.
"Per a league source, all signs currently point to Albert signing with the Dolphins not long after the market officially opens on Tuesday," writes Mike Florio.
However, with the release of the report, ESPN NFL insider Adam Caplan quickly responded with a tweet saying that the Cardinals are the number two most likely team to land the veteran entering his sixth NFL season.
Both Miami and Arizona were in talks with Kansas City a year ago, attempting to acquire Albert, who had been given the franchise tag.
The commencement of free agency is still two days away, so things may change. It may come down to which team gets the first meeting with Albert.
