Since it has been 10 years (it will be the 10th anniversary) since the death of former Arizona Cardinals player Pat Tillman, there are tributes to him. ESPN aired a special on it. The Arizona Cardinals official team site also has a post dedicated to him and his sacrifice.
This article is not to hash out blame or to discuss the controversy behind it. Instead, use it as an open thread to discuss the memories you had of him as a Cardinals player.
Many of us will have very strong emotional ties to him, as he also played at Arizona State.
