NFL Pro Bowl to be played in Arizona in 2015, in Hawaii in 2016

Phoenix area will be hopping for two weeks. Hope you don't mind the traffic.

USA TODAY Sports

The NFL announced the site of the next two Pro Bowls, the league's All-Star game played the week before the Super Bowl. Arizona will host the 2015 Pro Bowl one week before hosting the Super Bowl, giving a perfect kickoff to the championship festivities with a real (or somewhat real) football game.

Both the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, the home field for the Arizona Cardinals.

The Phoenix area will be abuzz with sports fans for those weeks. The Valley will be hosting the Pro Bowl, the Super Bowl and the Waste Management Open all in that two week period.

The 2014 Pro Bowl featured a significantly revised format that will continue. For the first time, the Pro Bowl was "unconferenced," and several key playing rules were changed. Rather than the familiar AFC vs. NFC match-up that had existed since 1971, players were selected without regard to conference in voting by fans, coaches and players.
Tickets will be available first to Arizona Cardinals season ticket members and annual Pro Bowl season ticket holders. Pro Bowl annual ticket subscribers in Hawaii will maintain their account status for any future games at Aloha Stadium.

Even if you don't go to the game, will you spend more of that week around the Pro Bowl and Super festivities? How excited are that the game will be held here?
