Day 2 of the NFL Draft is complete. Who was added to the NFC West teams?
After taking Deone Bucannon in Round 1, Arizona added three players on Day 2. With the 52nd overall pick, they drafted Notre Dame TE Troy Niklas. Then in the third round, they drafted two players. With the 84th overall pick, they took North Carolina defensive end Kareem Martin. With the 91st pick, they drafted Pittsburg State receiver John Brown.
They have three picks remaining -- one each in the fourth, fifth and sixth round (picks 120, 160 and 196 overall).
After drafting safety Jimmy Ward in the first round, San Fran made a couple of trades in the second round. They traded down from number 56 to 63, and then traded back up to number 57. With the 57th pick, they selected Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde. They also traded down from number 61 (2nd round) to 70 (third round). With the 70th pick, they drafted USC center Marcus Martin. With the 77th pick, they drafted Wisconsin linebacker Chris Borland. Finally, with the 100th pick -- San Fran's compensatory pick -- they selected Clemson guard Brandon Thomas.
They have one fourth round pick (129), two fifth round picks (150, 170) and two seventh round picks (243, 245) remaining in the draft.
After trading down out of the first round, they had the 40th pick overall. They traded down again, this time down five spots to 45. They selected receiver Paul Richardson out of Colorado. Then, with the last pick of the second round, number 64, they drafted Missouri tackle Justin Britt. They also had the 96th pick in the draft, but they also traded that away.
They have three fourth round picks (108, 111, 132), one sixth rounder (208) and one seventh rounder (227).
After taking Greg Robinson and Aaron Donald in the first round, they continued with their work on Friday. They traded up three spots to number 41 to take Florida State defensive back Lamarcus Joyner. In the third round, they took Auburn running back Tre Mason with the 75th pick.
They have a fourth rounder (110), two sixth round picks (188, 214) and four seventh round selections (226, 241, 249, 250)
