Larry Fitzgerald nude poses to be part of ESPN the Magazine's 'The Body Issue'

He "can't believe" he's doing it.

Laryr Fitzgerald will be featured in ESPN the Magazine in July. But it's not what you might expect. He will have "tastefully done" nude photos in the magazine's "The Body Issue."

The magazine has been publishing such an issue every year, with a focus on the human body -- with athletes (young and old as we have seen in past issues) as the models to show off what the human body can be.

While it might seem a little out of character for Fitz to appear in something that might be questionable in the eyes of some, as Darren Urban noted in his blog about the move, Fitz texted him saying "it's tastefully done."

And it is. It isn't sexual in nature, even though the athletes are naked (and the essential parts are always covered).

ESPN's promo video is here:

Urban grabbed a screen shot of Fitz in the video. Here it is:

You might notice the final second of the video, with someone saying "I can't believe I'm doing this." It is Fitz.

He isn't the first local athlete to appear. Diana Taurasi was actually on the cover for some regions. Amare Stoudemire (though he was on his way out of Phoenix when that issue came out I believe) was also in the magazine. Adrian Wilson, a former Cardinal, also was in it.

What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea? And if you had to guess if there were another Cardinals player to do it, who would it be? Patrick Peterson? Tyrann Mathieu? Carson Palmer? Bruce Arians? Anyone?
