Countdown to kickoff: 95 days left and we look at Arizona Cardinals jersey No. 95

Who has worn this number?

Bob Donnan-US PRESSWIRE

We are now 95 days away from when the Arizona Cardinals will play their regular season opener on Monday Night Football against the San Diego Chargers.

As such, we now look at jersey number 95 and what players have worn that number in history.

Currently, the player wearing that number is defensive tackle Anthony McCloud, who spent 2013 on the practice squad for Arizona.

And before now?

Ricky Lumpkin wore it in 2012 and 2013 until he was cut. He is probably most known for his late hit penalty in the preseason on Matt Leinart in 2012.

In 2011, it was Pago Togafau, who was a training camp player.

Ali Highsmith wore it from 2008-2009. He made the team in 2008 as an undrafted free agent and was on the practice squad in 2009.

Bo Schobel wore it in 2007.He played two games for the team that year.

In 2006, it was Jonathan Lewis. He was drafted in the sixth rounf by the team that year. He played four games.

Derrick Ranson wore it in 2003. He played five games in his only season in Arizona.

Tom Burke wore it from 2000-2002. He was the team's third round pick in 1999. He wore 60 in 1999, but changed it the following year. He played four season in Arizona, his entire NFL career, playing 36 games, starting 12.

Jamir Miller wore it from 1994-1998. He was the team's starting middle linebacker during the team's 1998 playoff run. He left that offseason to join the Browns. He is far and away the best player of this group of players.

Dick Chapura wore in 1990. He played three games for Arizona that year before being cut.

Bob Buczkowski wore it in 1989. He played four games for the team that year. I don't remember him. That is getting too early in Cardinals history for me.

The first to wear 95 was Sean McNanie in 1988, who played four games for the team. I have no idea who he is.

The countdown will continue mañana.
