Tuesday morning is here and there is plenty of content for you. Darnell Dockett and Bradley Sowell were in a dust-up, some players are dinged up and Steve Keim says maybe six receivers on the roster (which I think will happen).
Arizona Cardinals GM Steve Keim: Receiver battle will go down to the wire ArizonaSports.com
"Well, Bruce and I have talked about potentially five or six," Keim told Doug and Wolf Monday on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. "For that last spot, whether it's a guy who plays so well -- whether it's Walt Powell or Brittan Golden or Jaron Brown -- depending on how well those guys continue to play will determine how many we keep."
“That’s the kind of problem you want to have as a General Manager,” Keim said.
When your head coach, offensive and defensive coordinators and many of the main players are the same as last season, and after the team has a whole looked pretty good in the preseason opener, the thought process for the preseason sometimes with be adjusted.

"It really was surreal; it was breathtaking," Bauman told Bickley and Marotta on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Monday. "I usually don't get nervous for football, but coach called my number and told me to get out there, and it was actually a timeout so we're just standing out on the field and I'm like, 'Come on, let's get this going, I want to get my first NFL play going,' but it really was surreal being out there."
Arians said Brown really enjoys playing in the slot receiver position, but will now start to get more work outside as a wide receiver, backing up Fitzgerald's position with the second team.
