The Arizona Cardinals don't face the New York Giants all that often. As such, it is completely understandable for fans to not be too familiar with what has been going on with New York.

To preview the game this Sunday, I got on the line with Ed Valentine, who is the man who runs Big Blue View, our SB Nation New York Giants site. This post is the podcast preview post.

In the little more than 30 minutes we talked, we discussed a number of things. The first was about the offensive changes the Giants have made and how it is a complete philosophical shift. We compared that to how the Cardinals went through the same thing.

There was plenty of Eli Manning talk, but also of the personnel around Manning.

I ask him about the offensive and defensive lines and the personnel changes.

Valentine tells me about what went wrong against the Lions on Monday Night.

Cardinals fan will recognize the Giants secondary. They have both Antrel Rolle and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who were starters on the Super Bowl team for Arizona.

Overall, you get the sense of a fan base unaccustomed to seeing the Giants not be contenders, and how they are very nervous about this season.
