NFL injury report Week 1, Cardinals vs. Chargers: Andre Ellington not at practice after MRI

What is the injury situation for both teams?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals were back at practice on Friday and the big question everyone wanted to know was the status of running back Andre Ellington.

No one got any answers, as Ellington was not even present at practice and head coach Bruce did not address the media. On Friday, the media spoke with offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin and defensive coordinator Todd Bowles. Goodwin's answer about Ellington? "It's not in my pay scale," he said. "I don't talk about injuries."

Ellington was apparently not even at the facility as he was nowhere to be found during locker room access, either.

It was the same for linebacker Alex Okafor. He also did not practice. The injury reports says it is his thigh.

The rest of the players listed on the injury report all practiced fully -- G JOnathan Cooper (toe), WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee), S Tyrann Mathieu (knee), ILB Kevin Minter (chest) and DE Frostee Rucker (back).

For the San Diego Chargers, not much changed. Starting center Nick Hardwick returned to practice fully after not practicing Thursday. S Jahleel Addae and CB Chris Davis didn't practice. Bolts From The Blue believes that only Addae will miss the game on Monday.

For the Chargers those who were limited in practice were DE Lawrence Guy (shoulder), DT Sean Lissemore (ankle) and LB Manti Te'o (foot).

WR Keenan Allen (ribs) and CB Jason Verrett (shoulder) practiced fully.
