Even though the Arizona Cardinals practiced on Tuesday, there was no injury report until Wednesday. That first injury report shows the Cardinals to be a bit healthier than they were heading into the regular season finale.
There were only two players who did not practice -- quarterback Drew Stanton (knee) and nose tackle Dan Williams (foot).
Stanton was not even present at practice, making it even less likely he will play this Saturday. He isn't even getting mental reps. Williams has been battling a foot injury for a couple of weeks now, but has played through it. I would expect him to practice on Thursday, at least on a limited basis.
Limited in practice were guard Jonathan Cooper (wrist and knee) and defensive end Frostee Rucker (ankle). Cooper's injury likely won't affect anything. Ted Larsen and Paul Fanaika are healthy so they will play on Saturday. It may affect whether Cooper is active or not.
Center Lyle Sendlein (back), safety Tyrann Mathieu (thumb and hip), linebacker Larry Foote (knee) and defensive end Calais Campbell (hip) practiced fully.
The Carolina Panthers home page did not list practice status on its injury report. QB Derek Anderson (illness), safety Thomas DeCoud (hamstring), linebacker A.J. Klein (ankle), guard Fernando Velasco (non-injury) and running back DeAngelo Williams (hand) were listed.
AZCentral's Kent Somers tweeted Anderson and Velasco were the only players who did not practice.
