We have to have an offseason storyline, right? Right now for the Arizona Cardinals, it is the situation with Todd Bowles and the contract status of Larry Fitzgerald. While Fitz' situation is mostly speculation, Bowles is actually having interviews.

According to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss, Bowles' interview with the Chicago Bears on Thursday, when he met with new general manager Ryan Pace, 'went well.'

Bowles was scheduled to interview with the 49ers on Friday and is set to speak with the Atlans Falcons on Saturday.

Thus far, he has not had any second interviews set up.

There are many who believe the Bears position is a good fit for Bowles. Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune tweeted how new Chicago GM Ryan Pace said he "is  influenced by Sean Payton." Pace was the player personnel director in New Orleans. Bowles, like Payton, comes from the Bill Parcells coaching tree.

That doesn't necessarily mean something significant, but it is something.

No reports have come out yet about hos things went in San Francisco.
