Wild Card weekend is here and there are four games. Most fantasy seasons are over, but there still are one day leagues you can play, like our partner, FanDuel.
What are some possible fantasy plays in the Cardinals' playoff debut.
Cardinals vs. Panthers: What players could you use? Mobile quarterbacks like Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick have been trouble for Arizona recently. Could you use Cam Newton, who is a bigger version of them? What about Jonathan Stewart or DeAngelo Williams? Frank Gore and Marshawn Lynch were money against the Arizona defense? Likewise, tight ends have been tough for the Cardinals. Greg Olsen might be a good play.
You could go higher risk with Arizona QB Ryan Lindley, who threw two touchdown passes to Michael Floyd last week. Larry Fitzgerald has a prodigious postseason history. He might be the man to have a big game, elevating the play of his quarterback. But with the play of Carolina's defense the last four weeks could make any Cardinals offensive player risky.
However, if you look at the Arizona defense, they sacked Cam Newton in their 2013 matchup seven times and intercepted him twice.
Editor's Note: FanDuel is hosting a $1,000 fantasy football league for SBNation for the Wildcard round. It's $5 to join and first place wins $100. League starts Saturday 4:30 PM ET. Here's the link.
