I guess you can say it is officially NFL Draft season. The Super Bowl is less than two weeks away, but, more importantly, the Senior Bowl is this Saturday, where scores of NFL Draft prospects will practice against one another and play in a game to see how they fare against the best of college football.
The Arizona Cardinals will be there. Mike Jurecki reported on Monday both general manager Steve Keim and head coach Bruce Arians were headed to the Senior Bowl.
While their presence there should be expected, what we can expect is they will look hard at many prospects. Each of the past two years Arizona has drafted four players who were in the Senior Bowl.
In 2013, Cardinals draft picks Andre Ellington, Stepfan Taylor, Ryan Swope and Alex Okafor participated.
In 2014, Arizona drafted Logan Thomas, Deone Bucannon, Ed Stinson and Kareem Martin, all of whom were in last year's Senior Bowl.
Keep an eye on the rosters for this week's game. Assuredly some will be wearing an Arizona Cardinals uniform.
