The Arizona Cardinals, sitting at 4-2 on the season, have shown they are one of the best teams in the NFC. There are questions moving forward, but they have caught the attention of statisticians and Vegas. With their Super Bowl odds starting in the offseason in the range of 33/1 or so, things have changed.
They are now given the fifth best odds for winning the Super Bowl in the NFL and the second-best odds among NFC teams. They did lose a little ground after their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, though. Last week, Vegas bookmakers had them with 10/1 odds to win the Super Bowl. They slipped to 12/1.
The New England Patriots are at the top right now with 11/4 odds. The Green Bay Packers follow at 13/4, followed by the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos at 10/1.
Using numberFire's statistical model, Arizona has the best odds in the NFC to win Super Bowl 50. They are given a 14.8 percent chance at winning it all. That is lower than only the Bengals, who are given a 16.2 percent chance.
Arizona has an 85.6-percent chance of making the postseason and more than a 74-percent chance of winning the NFC West.
