What could you see in Cards/Rams?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

As we approach kickoff for the Week 4 divisional battle between the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams, let's look at some facts at stats we could see.

  • If the Cardinals win, it would make the 10th straight start quarterback Carson Palmer has won.
  • If Chris Johnson rushes for 100  or more yards today, he would be the first Cardinals running back to rush for at least 100 in consecutive weeks since Edgerrin James did it in 2006. It is a sad history, but it is true. It would also be the third straight game against the Rams Johnson would have eclipsed the century mark on the ground.
  • If Larry Fitzgerald has at least 100 receiving yards, it would be the third time in his storied career he would have done so in three consecutive games. He also achieved it in 2005 and 2008. If he catches a touchdown, he will tie the team record for TD receptions through four games. Bob Shaw had six in 1950 in the first four games.
  • If Arizona rushes for at least 115 yards, it will be the first time since 1988, the team's first year in Arizona, the team will have done so in the first four games of a season.
  • Patrick Peterson loves to score against the Rams. Three of his five career touchdowns have come against them. He also has six of his 16 career interceptions against them. Last season he picked off three against the Rams.
  • Larry Fitzgerald has more TD receptions against the Rams (16) in his career than any other player has against any other team in the regular season.
  • St. Louis has scored four offensive touchdowns this season. Larry Fitzgerald has five.
  • Arizona has scored at least one touchdown in each of the last nine quarters. It has scored at least three points in all 12 quarters this season.
  • University of Phoenix Stadium is sold out for the 98th straight time.
  • Nick Foles is 1-1 in his career against the Cardinals, having thrown five touchdown passes and only two interceptions. The Cardinals are the only NFC West team to beat him.
  • Cardinals kicker Chandler Catanzaro has attempted more field goals against the Rams (six) than against any other team. he has made five of them, which is the most he has made against any team. He also has made five against the 49ers in one extra game.
