Cardinals vs. Eagles injury report: Patrick Peterson, Andre Ellington among 6 Cardinals who do not practice

A first look at the injury report of the week.

The Arizona Cardinals didn't really talk about injuries for their bonus practice on Tuesday, but on Wednesday when they released their first injury report of the week in preparation for the Sunday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, we find out there are a lot of players banged up.

There were six Cardinals players to sit out of practice on Tuesday, including starters Patrick Peterson and Lyle Sendlein.

Peterson and Sendlein were DNPs on Wednesday and were listed with injuries that had previously limited their practice time. Peterson has an ankle injury and Sendlein a shoulder injury.

Also not practicing were tight end Jermaine Gresham (knee), running back Andre Ellington (toe), safety Rashad Johnson (ankle) and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, who was ill.

The general feeling is that all but Ellington and Gresham will likely play on Sunday.

Cornerback Jerraud Powers and defensive tackle Frostee Rucker, both of whom missed the last two  games, were back on the practice field and were limited. Defensive tackle Cory Redding (ankle) and receivers Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) and Brittan Golden (concussion) were also limited.

For the Eagles, only one player -- cornerback Byron Maxwell -- sat out. He has an ankle injury. Receiver Jordan Matthews was limited and everyone else was a full participant.
