Arizona Cardinals injuries: Markus Golden suffers knee injury, could miss regular season finale

The rookie linebacker could need some rest before the playoffs.

On Monday when Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians addressed the media, he said it appeared they didn't have anyone who suffered an injury that would cause anyone to lose game time. That might have changed. Rookie outside linebacker Markus Golden apparently has a knee injury.

According to USA Today's Tom Pelissero, Arians said Golden reported the knee injury on Tuesday and it could take some time for him to recover. There is the possibility he plays on Sunday, but he might miss.

Golden has played in all other 15 games this season and has 37 total tackles, five for a loss and five sacks. He leads the team with 16 QB pressures and 14 QB hits.

If he misses, it would mean Kareem Martin would see more playing time and we might get to see the first of Shaq Riddick.

The first injury report of the week will not come out until Wednesday afternoon.
