The inactive lists are out for both the Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams. Injuries have forced starters on both sides of the ball for the Cardinals to sit, while the Rams will be out starters on offense, defense and special teams.
The inactives for Arizona:
QB Matt Barkley
CB Jerraud Powers
RB Andre Ellington
T D.J. Humphries
G/T Earl Watford
DT Cory Redding
DT Frostee Rucker
Powers, Ellington and Rucker -- all starters -- are out because of injuries. It means rookie David Johnson will get his first start, while Josh Mauro will replace Rucker on the defensive line to start and the newly paid Justin Bethel will start at cornerback.
Redding was doubtful for the game, but with Ed Stinson healthy, the Cardinals will have six defensive linemen available.
Something to note is linebacker Shaq Riddick is active for the first time. We will see if he does anything than special teams, sit the whole game or if he gets a snap or two to rush the passer.
Here are the inactive Rams:
K Greg Zuerlein
QB Sean Mannion
CB Trumaine Johnson
T Andrew Donnal
DE Robert Quinn
C Brian Folkerts
DL Ethan Westbrooks
Donnal has been starting on the offensive line. Johnson and Quinn are starters on defense. Zuerlein is missing yet again.
Case Keenum is active, which means he did pass the concussion protocol. He will be the backup to Nick Foles.
