2015 NFL offseason calendar, start dates for free agency, NFL Draft

The season is officially over.

With the Super Bowl over and fans headed back home from Arizona, we now can look forward to the offseason for the Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL.

There won't be much down time for the NFL, though, as the Combine is coming up and teams will soon be offering contracts, tenders and designating franchise players and more.

So don't stray too far from our fine site. We will continue to have great offseason coverage of your Cardinals.

Here is the 2015 NFL offseason schedule:

Feb. 16: First day for clubs to designate franchise or transition players.

Feb. 17-23: NFL Scouting Combine, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis

March 10: 2015 league year and free agency period begin at 4 p.m. ET. All clubs must be under the 2015 salary cap before 4 p.m. ET.

March 22: NFL Veteran Combine, Arizona Cardinals Training Facility, Tempe, AZ

March 22-25: Annual meeting, Phoenix

April 24: Deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets

April 29: Deadline for prior club to exercise right of first refusal to restricted free agents.

April 30-May 2: NFL draft, Chicago

May 8-11: First weekend after draft: Clubs may elect to hold their three-day post-draft rookie mini-camp from Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday.

May 15-18: Second weekend after draft: Clubs may elect to hold their three-day post-draft rookie mini-camp from Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday.

May 18-20: NFL spring league meeting, San Francisco

June 21-27: Rookie Symposium, Aurora, Ohio.
