2015 NFL Combine results: The offensive linemen run their 40s

The big guys run!

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

It might seem counter-intuitive, but Friday was the day the offensive lineman prospects ran the 40-yard dash. Linemen don't normally have to run that far down the field, but since everyone else does it, why not? and the truth is that on special teams you have to be able to get down the field, so there's that.

This year, no one jumped off the charts with some crazy 40 time like has happened in years past. Terron Armstead ran a 4.71. This year, Hobart College's Ali Marpet is the leader with 4.98 seconds.
