The quarterbacks also ran the 40-yard dash on Saturday. You wonder how often a QB runs 40 yards, but it's nice to see who has speed and who does not.
It was confirmed -- Marcus Mariota is fast, posting a 4.52 40. It was the fastest time of his position group. Jameis Winston, who is athletic and mobile, did not post a good time, running a 4.97.
Should that drop his draft stock? Probably not. He can run, but he isn't a running QB. He just doesn't have Mariota speed.
